    I open my books in two month periods at a time. Existing clients will receive a booking link two weeks before the next booking cycle opens around the 15th of that month.

    Please note: I check emails, texts and do all of my hair related admin on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the week.

  • Park in either the lot behind the building or street park on Broad or Green (if the lot is full.) 

    Once you arrive, text me from your vehicle that you've arrived. If you're on foot, feel free to hang out on the front porch and text me from there. 

    I will let you know when I'm cleaned up and ready for you to come to the front door

    If you'd like to hang inside in the waiting area while I finish up to use the restroom or enjoy the AC, just let me know in your arrival text and I'll pop out to unlock the front door for you and you can let yourself in. 

    For safety reasons, the front door stays locked between appointments. 

    Please wait for my confirmation text to head to the porch so that you aren't stuck waiting outside in the summer heat! 

    Please note: The studio that I work out of is in a shared building that we are still working on better sound-proofing. For the sake of avoiding disruptions to the therapists and their clients, please keep talking to a low volume in the common areas and hallways.

  • I’m located at Velvet Petal Collective in Durham. The address is 820 Broad Street. There is complimentary parking behind the building. It’s the pink building just off the corner of Broad & Green!

  • If you cancel within 24 hours of the service, the cancellation fee is 20% of the service. If I need to cancel or shift your appointment within 24 hours, you’ll receive 20% off of your rescheduled service.

    The cancellation fee does not apply to anyone who’s airing on the side of caution with being sick! I’d rather reschedule.

    Late Policy:

    I do my best to stay on track during the day, but can get off schedule at times. I will do my best to let you know so you can plan accordingly. If you’re running behind, just text me to give me a heads up. Most of the time we can see what we have time for when you arrive!

  • I typically mask around cold and flu season. If you would prefer that I wear a K-95 for you or your loved ones who are immune compromised I’m happy to! Just give me a heads up before your appointment.

In the spirit of Isabella Rossellini, I’m going back to school, studying Animal Science!

While I’m working longer days, I’m only working 2-3 days a week. I schedule appointments back to back, without much buffer time between. With that being said, there’s not much wiggle room to change appointment times. I would much rather roll in a “play it by ear” and flexible way, but for the foreseeable future I don’t have much flexibility to add additional services to existing appointments or squeeze folks in. You can always ask to double check, in case I can make it work.

To make sure you’re getting a timely response from me, I’m going to ask that any hair related inquiries be sent to my work number (919-495-4332) or my email address so that I can keep things organized and get in touch promptly. If I don’t respond, I am never offended at a follow up message! I have goldfish brain most of the time, I promise it isn’t personal.
